Web Tools Final Blog Entry

Web Tools Final Blog Entry

Well, it's closing time and it was a fun ride in Web Tools. I learned a lot about the different tools and methodologies that are available to create an awesome site. I really appreciate this class and I wish that I could have taken it earlier in my education, as the summer course is very condensed.

The reason I appreciate the class is that it helped broaden my knowledge as to what a web developer/designer needs to know and how to think about their projects. The class also introduced me to new tools and showed me that template sites are just as viable as building a site from scratch. I really enjoyed the hands on learning like adding SEO to my site, or how I needed to go register my site with the search engines, and also how to use the meta data to increase your site's visibility. I also really enjoyed the blogging aspect of this course. I had never really blogged but once before and now that I caught the blogging bug, I will continue to blog and create a following.

I had previously created websites before, but this class really give me a better perspective as to what my future thought processes need to be. This was my second course under Professor Xeriland as I had taken Java before, and I must say in each course I was challenged and I know that my knowledge expanded. Good luck everyone!
